Lifestyle management in Madrid.

It is not about getting a table. It is about someone keeping track of your life outside work, with judgement and without you having to repeat yourself.

Lifestyle management is often confused with a concierge, a personal assistant or a travel agency. It has something of all three, but it is none of them.

The idea

Handing over the whole, not the errand.

A concierge handles requests. Lifestyle management takes care of the whole: the personal schedule, travel, the home, social commitments and the details that, added up, eat the weeks away. The difference is continuity: the person in charge does not wait to be asked, knows what is coming and gets ahead of it.

Concierge, assistant or manager

Three roles worth telling apart.

A personal assistant works for one person and is usually focused on their professional life. A luxury concierge handles what is asked, from the plane to the evening's table. A lifestyle manager sits in between: not a seat in your office, but someone who knows your context well enough for every request to fit with the rest.

In Madrid

What is actually handed over.

In Madrid it is rarely about whims; it is the logistics of a life with many moving parts: arriving in the city and the house to settle into, schools, golf and weekends away, trips to the coast, family visits and commitments that cannot go wrong. For those arriving from abroad, also where to live when you land.

And from Madrid, the rest: a private jet for Friday, a boat in Ibiza, a car waiting in Marbella or a villa that is never advertised.

When it makes sense

A simple question.

It makes sense when time is worth more than the cost of delegating, and when there are enough moving parts for coordinating them to be a job in itself. It does not if what you want is a catalogue of discounts or someone who simply forwards emails.

What to ask for

Before trusting someone with your schedule.

One point of contact who does not change every week. Memory of what you like and what you do not. Discretion in the method, not just the promise: who sees each piece of information and what is never discussed. And closed proposals, not lists of options for you to choose from.
